Ravi — Privacy Policy

Summary: You do not need to provide your name, email, or phone number to use Ravi. Prayer times and qibla are calculated on your device, and no location/GPS permission is requested. Your progress is kept on your device. Only when you use the optional chat feature, your message is transmitted to our secure server in Europe and from there to the AI provider in order to generate a response. We do not show ads.
1. Introduction
Ravi ("we", "the app") is a mobile application that serves as the family's daily spiritual companion. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the app, in line with the requirements of the GDPR (EU), KVKK (Türkiye), and Google Play / App Store.
2. Information We Collect / Process
2.1 Account & Personal Information
- No registration, no sign-in. Ravi does not ask for your name, email, or phone number.
- To manage abuse and the daily usage quota in the chat feature, an anonymous identifier (Firebase Anonymous Auth) is assigned to your device. This identifier does not personally identify you.
2.2 Data That Stays on Your Device
- The city you select, your tesbih/dhikr counters, your daily streak, your settings, and your language preference are stored only on your device. This data is not sent to us and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
- Prayer times and qibla direction are calculated offline on your device from the coordinates of the city you select.
- Qur'an recitation audio is downloaded when you choose to listen and is cached on your device for offline use.
2.3 Location
Ravi does not need or request location/GPS permission. Your location is not obtained automatically for prayer times and qibla; instead, you select a city from a list, and the calculation is performed on your device.
2.4 Chat (Artificial Intelligence)
- When you use the optional chat feature, the message text you write is transmitted, in order to generate a response, to our secure server (Firebase Cloud Functions) hosted in Europe (europe-west1).
- The server processes the message to prevent abuse (App Check), enforce the daily quota, and retrieve citations from verified sources (RAG), then forwards it to the AI provider (Google Gemini API) to generate a response.
- We do not use your chat messages to build a profile about you, and we do not sell them to third parties. Processing is solely for generating the response and for the service's security/quota.
2.5 Notifications
- Prayer time reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device; no message is sent from a server for them. Allowing notifications is optional.
2.6 Advertising
- Ravi does not show ads and does not collect your advertising identifier.
2.7 Optional Support / Purchases
- Optional purchases such as "Support Ravi" are processed by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store. We do not see or store your payment information.
3. Use of Data
- To provide core features such as prayer times, qibla, the daily spiritual package, and dhikr on your device.
- To generate the chat response and to protect the service against abuse (quota + security).
- We do not sell your personal data; we do not build an advertising profile on your behalf.
4. Data Sharing
When you use the chat feature, the message text is shared, in order to generate a response, with our service provider Google (Firebase & Gemini API). For details, please see the Firebase and Google privacy policies. Apart from chat, no personal data is transferred to us.
5. Children
Ravi is designed to be family-safe. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. We recommend that the chat (AI) feature be used under parental supervision. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us and we will help.
6. Your Rights (KVKK / GDPR)
You have the right to access data about you or to request its deletion. Because we do not keep a personal profile on the server, the simplest way to delete all local data is to uninstall the app (this clears all data on the device). For requests regarding chat records / the anonymous identifier, please write to us; you may also see the Data Deletion page.
7. Security
Core features run on your device, and data does not leave your device. Chat traffic is carried over an encrypted connection (HTTPS); the server side is protected by App Check and anonymous authentication. The AI key is kept only on the server (Secret Manager) and is not embedded in the app.
8. Changes
As the app evolves, we may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above indicates the most current version.

Özet: Ravi'yi kullanmak için isim, e-posta veya telefon vermeniz gerekmez. Namaz vakti ve kıble cihazınızda hesaplanır ve konum/GPS izni istenmez. İlerlemeniz cihazınızda tutulur. Yalnızca isteğe bağlı sohbet özelliğini kullandığınızda, mesajınız yanıt üretmek için Avrupa'daki güvenli sunucumuza ve oradan yapay zeka sağlayıcısına iletilir. Reklam göstermiyoruz.
1. Giriş
Ravi ("biz", "uygulama"), ailenin günlük manevi yol arkadaşı olan bir mobil uygulamadır. Gizliliğinize saygı duyuyoruz. Bu politika, uygulamayı kullanırken hangi verilerin işlendiğini; GDPR (AB), KVKK (Türkiye) ve Google Play / App Store gereklilikleri doğrultusunda açıklar.
2. Topladığımız / İşlediğimiz Bilgiler
2.1 Hesap & Kişisel Bilgiler
- Kayıt yok, giriş yok. Ravi adınızı, e-postanızı veya telefon numaranızı istemez.
- Sohbet özelliğinde kötüye kullanımı ve günlük kullanım kotasını yönetmek için cihazınıza anonim bir kimlik (Firebase Anonymous Auth) atanır. Bu kimlik sizi kişisel olarak tanımlamaz.
2.2 Cihazda Kalan Veriler
- Seçtiğiniz şehir, tesbih/zikir sayaçlarınız, günlük seriniz, ayarlarınız ve dil tercihiniz yalnızca cihazınızda saklanır. Bu veriler bize gönderilmez ve uygulamayı kaldırdığınızda silinir.
- Namaz vakitleri ve kıble yönü, seçtiğiniz şehrin koordinatlarından cihazınızda çevrimdışı hesaplanır.
- Kur'an kıraat sesleri, dinlemek istediğinizde indirilir ve çevrimdışı kullanım için cihazınızda önbelleğe alınır.
2.3 Konum
Ravi konum/GPS iznine ihtiyaç duymaz ve istemez. Namaz vakti ve kıble için konumunuz otomatik alınmaz; bunun yerine listeden bir şehir seçersiniz ve hesap cihazınızda yapılır.
2.4 Sohbet (Yapay Zeka)
- İsteğe bağlı sohbet özelliğini kullandığınızda, yazdığınız mesaj metni, yanıt üretmek amacıyla Avrupa'da (europe-west1) barındırılan güvenli sunucumuza (Firebase Cloud Functions) iletilir.
- Sunucu; kötüye kullanımı önlemek (App Check), günlük kotayı uygulamak ve doğrulanmış kaynaklardan alıntı çekmek (RAG) için mesajı işler, ardından yanıt üretmesi için yapay zeka sağlayıcısına (Google Gemini API) iletir.
- Sohbet mesajlarınızı size ait bir profil oluşturmak için kullanmayız ve üçüncü taraflara satmayız. İşleme, yalnızca yanıtın üretilmesi ve hizmetin güvenliği/kotası içindir.
2.5 Bildirimler
- Namaz vakti hatırlatmaları cihazınızda planlanan yerel bildirimlerdir; bunun için sunucudan mesaj gönderilmez. Bildirimlere izin vermek isteğe bağlıdır.
2.6 Reklam
- Ravi reklam göstermez ve reklam kimliğinizi toplamaz.
2.7 İsteğe Bağlı Destek / Satın Alma
- "Ravi'yi Destekle" gibi isteğe bağlı satın almalar Google Play Faturalandırma veya Apple App Store tarafından işlenir. Ödeme bilgilerinizi biz görmez ve saklamayız.
3. Verilerin Kullanımı
- Namaz vakti, kıble, günün manevi paketi ve zikir gibi çekirdek özellikleri cihazınızda sunmak için.
- Sohbet yanıtını üretmek ve hizmeti kötüye kullanıma karşı korumak (kota + güvenlik) için.
- Kişisel verilerinizi satmayız; sizin adınıza reklam profili oluşturmayız.
4. Veri Paylaşımı
Sohbet özelliğini kullandığınızda mesaj metni, yanıt üretmek için hizmet sağlayıcımız Google (Firebase & Gemini API) ile paylaşılır. Ayrıntılar için Firebase ve Google gizlilik politikalarına bakınız. Sohbet dışında bize aktarılan kişisel veri yoktur.
5. Çocuklar
Ravi aile-güvenli olacak şekilde tasarlanmıştır. Bilerek 13 yaşından küçük çocuklardan kişisel bilgi toplamayız. Sohbet (yapay zeka) özelliğinin ebeveyn gözetiminde kullanılmasını öneririz. Bir çocuğun veri sağladığını düşünüyorsanız bizimle iletişime geçin, yardımcı oluruz.
6. Haklarınız (KVKK / GDPR)
Sizinle ilgili verilere erişme veya bunların silinmesini talep etme hakkınız vardır. Sunucuda kişisel profil tutmadığımız için tüm yerel veriyi silmenin en basit yolu uygulamayı kaldırmaktır (bu, cihazdaki tüm verileri temizler). Sohbet kaydı/anonim kimlikle ilgili talepler için bize yazın; Veri Silme sayfasına da bakabilirsiniz.
7. Güvenlik
Çekirdek özellikler cihazınızda çalışır ve veri cihazınızdan çıkmaz. Sohbet trafiği şifreli bağlantı (HTTPS) üzerinden taşınır; sunucu tarafı App Check ve anonim kimlik doğrulamayla korunur. Yapay zeka anahtarı yalnızca sunucuda (Secret Manager) tutulur, uygulamaya gömülmez.
8. Değişiklikler
Uygulama geliştikçe bu politikayı güncelleyebiliriz. Yukarıdaki "Son güncelleme" tarihi en güncel sürümü gösterir.
